The Women’s ministry team are focussed on providing opportunities for the women at Wollongong Baptist Church to be encouraged in their faith and to get to know each other better. A variety of events, programs and materials are used to achieve these aims, including events involving multiple churches.

The team seeks to promote a culture of one-on-one mentoring between the women of Wollongong Baptist church, believing these relationships to be deeply significant as women journey through the ups and downs of life together.

  • Men's Ministry

The men at Wollongong Baptist Church enjoy regular fellowship through activities which seek to build them up in their faith in Jesus and to equip them to take up their roles as men in the body of Christ. Activities can include breakfasts or dinners with speakers, outreach events, involvement at Katoomba Men’s Convention each year, sport or recreational fellowships etc.

Senior Adults (60+) are a vital part of the WBC church family. Our Seniors Ministry aims to deepen the faith of our Christian seniors and provide for their continued involvement and service in our church community. At the same time, we provide appropriate entertaining activities, and opportunities for a warm and friendly social network so friendships can develop and flourish.

An annual program operates around the interests and needs of senior adults within the congregation and the wider neighbouring community. Activities include fellowship mornings, outings, devotions and learning opportunities that build each other up in Christ like love, with a strong desire to out-reach to non-church friends.

Meetings are monthly from February through to November, on the first Tuesday of the month from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon, usually at WBC depending on the activity.
