<h3><span style="color: #0692ce;">NEWISH</span></h1>

If you are newish to WBC and want to learn about our church, then come along to NEWISH! At NEWISH you will meet people from our church and have one of our pastors explain the mission of our church. There are newish lunches for our morning services and newish dinners for our evening service.

<h3><span style="color: #0692ce;">DISCOVER</span></h3>

DISCOVER is a series designed for anyone and everyone interested in exploring (or re-exploring) Jesus and the claims that he makes in a relaxed setting. Each night includes great dessert and coffee, a short talk, discussion together about what you’ve heard and an opportunity to ask as many questions as you like.

<h3><span style="color: #0692ce;">HOME GROUP</span></h3>

Home Groups are the next step after you have been to Get To Know. Home Groups at Wollongong Baptist Church are small groups of people who meet weekly in people’s homes. The groups meet together to study God’s word, pray together and care for one another under the leadership of our Home Group Leaders.

<h3><span style="color: #0692ce;">SERVING</span></h3>

We believe that Christians are to be servants like Jesus. For that reason we encourage all followers of Jesus to serve in the church and in the local community. If you would like to serve at WBC that is great! But heads up, before you can join a ministry at WBC you need to be committed to a Home Group.

<h3><span style="color: #0692ce;">MEMBERSHIP</span></h3>

Church Membership is one way you state before God and other people that you are committed to the church. To become a church member at Wollongong Baptist Church you need to be a Christian who calls WBC home. To become a member you need to be interviewed by two current members of our church and voted in at our next congregational meeting.

<h3><span style="color: #0692ce;">BAPTISM</span></h3>

Baptism is an outward declaration of someone's inward faith in Jesus. It's a declaration to God and other people that someone follows Jesus. That someone identifies with Jesus' death and resurrection. As a baptist church we believe the Bible teaches that people who profess to belief in Jesus should be baptised.
