Generosity is our privilege because Jesus was first generous towards us.
The New Testament teaches us to give generously, regularly and joyfully. At Wollongong Baptist Church there are three broad areas which your giving supports:
1. Reaching and maturing people
General giving supports the work we do to reach people with the gospel and then to grow them as God’s people here in Wollongong.
2. Developing and maintaining our facilities
Our facilities make it possible to keep reaching adults and children in Wollongong with the good news of the gospel.
3. Gospel partnerships
We give approximately 10% of our yearly budget in financial support to several missionary families and gospel workers.

Baptist Financial Services (BFS) provide our church with an electronic giving portal. You can set up Direct Debit from your bank account , or pay using a credit or debit card. You can give by clicking the icon above. Please note that when you pay by card Giveway charge us a fee of 1.5% of what you give, plus $0.40 every time you give.
Tithe.ly
Tithe.ly provide a gateway for electronic church giving. There are apps for Apple and Android devices. You can give through Tithe.ly by clicking on the icon above. Fees: 1.9% plus $0.30. You give $100, we receive $97.80
Church Planting Fund
By God’s grace WBC has planted four churches in the Illawarra, most recently in August 2024 with the launch of Calderwood Valley Baptist Church. We long to see more Christ-centred, gospel-preaching churches planted and making disciples of Jesus across this region. Our Church Planting Fund is one way we seek to play our part in the the mission of the gospel.
Other Ways to Give
Cash or cheques can be deposited in the giving box at the back of the auditorium. We can also accept credit card payments by request, please note that there is fee of 1.9% (you give $100, we receive $98.10).
